Froze Out

In winter when the paper is froze, and the letter froze, so as the workmen cannot work, they say, they are froze out. M.

In consequence of greater care in warming printing offices in winter than in the time of Moxon, the workmen are not now “froze out;” for there would be no excuse admitted for the non-execution of parliamentary work, newspapers, reviews, magazines, and other periodical works.
