In winter when the paper is froze, and the letter froze, so as the workmen cannot work, they say, they are froze out. — M.
In consequence of greater care in warming printing offices in winter than in the time of Moxon, the workmen are not now “froze out;” for there would be no excuse admitted for the non-execution of parliamentary work, newspapers, reviews, magazines, and other periodical works.
