Lithograph depicting Frederiksborg Castle, with the moat and the audience hall in the foreground. The current castle is an early seventeenth-century complex located approximately 20 miles (32 kilometers) north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The audience hall, completed in 1616, is one of the few structures that survived the fire that severely damaged most of the castle in 1859.
