Description:

A lammergeier (Gypaetus barbatus), also known as the bearded vulture, is seen from the side, sitting on a rock (or tree stump?) and facing right. Its beak is strong and curved, while its throat and belly are lighter in color compared to its darker back. The background features simplified mountain shapes.

The caption reads in the original French: Gypaète barbu (Gypaëtus barbatus).
