Shells of three murex snails.
Description:
Hand-colored plate showing the helicoid shells of three species of sea snails in the family Muricidae, assigned by the author to the genus Monoceros. The center one is depicted as much larger than the ones at the top and bottom, which are shown from both the front and back. The name assigned by the author is given first, followed by the current accepted name in parentheses:

- 7. Monoceros fusoides (Chorus giganteus)
