Description:

A brooding knight in armor is seen from the side riding on a horse in the company of the Devil in the guise of a horned monster with a pig’s snout sitting behind. Death, whose head only can be seen, rides slightly ahead beside them and a dog follows along. This illustration is a pastiche of Albrecht Dürer’s famous 1513 engraving Knight, Death and the Devil, on which the story is allegedly based.
