Description:

Device used by Poncet le Preux (1481-1559?), featuring two dragons looking backward and holding a shield with the initials P. L. P. In the trees, a child and a winged putto can be seen feeding birds. Poncet le Preux was a printer and bookseller in Paris ("Ponset" is considered an alternative spelling).
