Little dwarfs

Les petits nains, nommés tour à tour, dans les divers récits, Wichtelmœnner, Metollaril, Homunculi, pullulaient autrefois dans toutes les contrées montagneuses du Nord.

These little dwarfs appear in the popular tales of Germany, under different names, as wichtelmänner, metallarii, or homunculi, and evidently, at one time, were found in great numbers throughout all the mountainous parts of the North.
