Description
The Ariel toucan (Ramphastos vitellinus ariel) is currently considered a subspecies of the channel-billed toucan. It is a tropical bird in the family Ramphastidae found in the south-east Amazon and remarkable for its bright colors and large bill. Like other toucans, it can only fly short distances and feeds mainly on fruit.
