Description:

The demon Behemoth, described by the author as slow and dull-witted despite his high rank, is depicted with an elephant’s head, standing upright on his hind legs and cradling his prominent belly in both hands. He presides over gluttony and is occasionally identified as the devil’s cupbearer.
