Description

A male grey peacock-pheasant (Polyplectron bicalcaratum) is perched on a low branch of a tree while a female is on the ground.
The grey peacock-pheasant is a bird in the family Phasianidae native to Asia. It has an attractive plumage mottled with dark gray, buff, and white. The male shows blue or bluish-green eyespots on the tail and wings, the female on the tail only.
