Description
A family consisting of a man leaning on a stick and a kneeling woman with her arm around her child can be seen next to the imposing Baroque holy water basin designed by Agostino Cornacchini and completed in the 1720s, featuring two marble putti, here standing out in a ray of sunlight.
The caption reads in the original French: Bénitier de la basilique de St.-Pierre.
