Description
This sort of defective mechanical stitch occurs either when the upper thread of the lockstitch, which runs through the needle, is pulled too loosely or when the lower thread, wound onto a bobbin, is pulled too tightly.
The caption reads in the original French: Point de navette, avec le fil inférieur trop tendu.
