Description
A smiling young man is looking at the purse he is holding above his face. He is setting out on a trip, and taking with him a bag, which is hanging on his hip with the strap across his chest. Behind his back are two large books, tied into a bundle to a stick, which he carries on his shoulder.
The caption reads in the original French: La bourse de l’oncle Romain.
