Description
View of the Tour de Nesle with the narrower and taller stair turret, the bridge, and and the city gate known as Porte de Nesle. According to Viollet-le-Duc, the first known mention of the tour de Nesle is from a 1210 document, in which it is referred to as Tornella Philippi Hamelini suprà Sequanam.
