Description
The Eurasian nuthatch (Sitta europæa) is a passerine bird in the family Sittidæ. It is a widespread species throughout Europe and temperate Asia, with the subspecies Sitta e. cæsia being more common in western regions. The Eurasian nuthatch feeds mostly on insects, such as caterpillars and beetles.
