Paphiopedilum lowii (syn. cypripedium lowii) is a plant in the family Orchidaceae native to Malaysia and Indonesia. It belongs to the subfamily of lady’s slipper orchids named after the slipper-shaped pouch of the flower. Its popularity as an ornamental plant is a threat, among others, to its conservation and the number of mature individuals in the wild is low.
