Description
Aquatint depicting the scaly dragonfish (Stomias boa boa), also kown as boa dragonfish, a fish in the family Stomiidae. It lives in oceanic waters to more than 3,300 ft (1000 m) deep and feeds on other fish and crustaceans. Series of photophores distributed across its body allow it to emit light.
