Description
Inside a circular frame, a female figure is sitting on steps with a child sleeping at her feet and another standing on her left on the lowest step. A predella-like addition below the main motif bears the inscription “Sleep Night & Death” hanging over two figures guarding an iron door among antique ornaments and architecture.
