Description

Four turtles can be seen as though through the glass of an aquarium, three of them swimming in water at various depths and the top one climbing onto the bank of the pond. This illustration shows, from top to bottom, the following species:

  1. The common map turtle (Graptemys geographica)
  2. The diamondback terrapin (Malaclemys terrapin)
  3. The painted turtle (Chrysemys picta)
  4. The Ornate slider (Trachemys ornata)
